Ryde Etiquette aka 'Ryde-tiquette'

IMG_0739

You Ryde best when you feel best – Appropriate workout attire is always a hit!

Please remove your outside shoes at the front door. Upon check-in you’ll be provided with cycling shoes.

Busy schedules are the norm these days. If you know you’ll need to leave part way through a class please choose an alternate time. Once that door closes it’s game on!

Early bird gets the worm! If you’re not checked in at least 5 min prior to class your spot may be given to someone on the waiting list

Waitlist
If a class you wish to attend is fully booked please feel free to join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available you’ll receive a text/email informing you of the opening, make sure you have notifications subscribed and your current phone number and email are updated on your profile. For text message notifications, respond ‘Y’ to confirm or ‘N’ to decline. If you don’t reply with a response this will be considered confirmation of attendance and ‘no-shows’ will be charged as per cancellation policy.

If you aren’t prepared to attend on short notice, please remove yourself from the waitlist.

Cancellation Policy
Breakfast club
– as a courtesy to our early risers, we require a minimum of 8 hours notice for cancellation of classes before 10am.

All other classes will require a minimum of 4 hours notice. As mentioned in our ‘Ryde-etiquette’ checking in less than 10 minutes prior to start time may result in your spot being given to other’s on the waitlist.

Classes cancelled outside of policy terms will be automatically deducted from your account. Please note this policy also applies to unlimited packages. The charge for late cancellations or missed classes will be $8. We reserve the right to cancel any class without notice due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • Today Phase 3 guidelines were released for the June 8th reopen Saskatchewan plan during Covid-19.⁣
⁣
Sadly Ryde cannot be included in this. ⁣
⁣
With the current restrictions of 10 people per class our operational cost/needs to support Ryder’s and operate effectively with sufficient cleaning and requirements in place would not equate to running a business at just over 25% capacity.⁣
⁣
For a small business struggling to hold on this continues to impact us. ⁣
⁣
The reopening plan may support our big box and large chain neighbours but the fitness facilities and boutique studios that continue to invest in and support our communities and operate solely on group led classes were not thoughtfully included in this. ⁣
⁣
To the @skgov if you want to understand who we are and what we do let us share it with you. ⁣
⁣
We operate over 65, 50 minute classes weekly, that continue to push people to be their absolute best, ones that support them mentally, physically, emotionally and even spiritually. ⁣
⁣
Together yet apart, we stay on our designated bikes with a high efficiency HVAC unit for quality air flow in the room and we ryde to the beat without any physical contact with one another. We move to keep our hearts and minds happy, more equipped to combat illness, disease and the mental strains of the current state of the world.⁣
⁣
We raise money and create awareness for local charities and non profits to support the greater community and have collectively raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support these organizations. ⁣
⁣
We have given over 100,000 dollars directly to these local community supports, provided thousands of donated packages and have created opportunities to expand our community footprint on the next generation. ⁣
⁣
We have given hundreds of litres of literal blood through our @canadaslifeline Ryde drive to save lives, hundreds of litres of our literal sweat through our large events and fundraisers like @rydethehangar to support @starsambulance and now we share our tears with you.

  • Take some time to fill your bucket (and your water bottle) while we carefully plan our reopening procedures. Hydrate now and stay tuned to your email + our social in the weeks ahead!
