What makes you most excited to be a Ryde coach?
RydeYXE is the first of its kind in Saskatoon, and I love that I can be a part of it from day one. To see people walk through those doors for the first time – perhaps a little apprehensive – and then see them leave with a smile on their face and talking about what a great time they had, is priceless. As a coach I get to see people go through their ryde journey, and motivate and inspire them to push their limits. I get to show them that a ryde workout is not only about physical change, but also about clearing your mind and focusing on just you for 50 minutes.
RydeYXE is all about being part of the community. We support and encourage each other to be a better version of ourselves. Ryde for Change supports local charities and I am proud to be a part of a local business that will raise awareness and give back to our community.
Why do you get on that bike?
After a stressful day there is no better place to be than on that bike with some heavy beats and amazing people all around me. It’s a wonderful feeling to push past physical and mental barriers, and come out on the other side drenched in sweat with a smile on my face!
What would be impossible for you to give up?
1. Cuddle time with my favourite Frenchie.
2. Seinfeld re-runs – I love you Jerry!
3. “Fluffy” coffees – the more whip cream the better.
4. Nachos!!! Extra cheese please!
